You can escape the City (Sydney) and relax poolside at The Citadel in little under an hour and a half.

There are two methods of travel, rail or road.

Train

Catch the Newcastle train from either Central or Town Hall to Woy Woy, taking around 1h 15 mins. An Opal card is advisable. You can buy from most newsagents or the airport. It costs around $12 to get from the City to Woy Woy.

From Woy Woy station you can get an Uber (around $14) or a taxi ($20) to The Citadel. There is no direct public bus to our house, although there is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill.

Road

Straight up the M1 from Sydney, and take the Central Coast Why exit. We are at 10 The Citadel, Umina Beach. We are at the top of Kings View Drive, which is a very steep hill.

Once at the top, follow the road around until you see the white house at the top of the hill.
